Job summary

US Diversity Job Search is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I to oversee secure, highly available computing platforms and networks. You will install, maintain, upgrade, and improve the operating environment, monitor systems, respond to incidents, and plan for growth across multi-cloud workloads.

You will deploy, configure, and test server OSs and middleware, collaborate with development teams, and participate in disaster recovery planning while ensuring data security and vendor compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; certifications encouraged.
• Three to five years IT experience in an environment with compute infrastructure and multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Windows and RHEL systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor operations staff and drive adherence to best practices.
• Plan for replacement of obsolete resources and manage asset lifecycle.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain server OS, networks, and middleware.
• Ensure security, backups, disaster recovery, and vendor licensing compliance.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and respond to incidents and outages.
