Job summary

Blackstone is seeking a motivated investment professional to join its Infrastructure & Asset-Based Credit team in New York. You will perform due diligence, build financial models, and prepare investment materials focused on transportation.

This role partners with the Investment Team to underwrite opportunities and present to committees, with strong emphasis on Excel/VBA and PowerPoint. 2+ years of relevant experience is required; the package includes bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in investment banking, ABS/Structured Finance, or related fields.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/VBA and PowerPoint for creating investment materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence on prospective investments in the credit space, focusing on transportation.
• Underwrite opportunities with the Investment Team; build financial models and evaluate deal structures.
• Engage with rating agencies and assist in rating processes.
• Draft memorandums for investment committees and monitor existing investments.
• Identify process improvements for the team.
