Job summary

Blackstone Credit and Insurance is seeking a Senior Associate for Private Credit Strategies to build and present investment memos, model companies’ historical financials, and assess private software investments. You will contribute to business quality analyses and participate in debt/equity structuring decisions.

The role emphasizes rigorous diligence, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and collaboration with deal teams across operations and investment committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Science, or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience using Excel to build and audit software credit models.
• 2+ years of experience using PowerPoint to prepare investment committee materials.
• Experience conducting end-to-end diligence for software investments and leading calls with industry experts.

Responsibilities

• Draft investment memos detailing potential take-privates, investment merits/risks and a financial model.
• Model out company’s historical financials from filings.
• Draft business quality pages to analyze business risks.
• Structure deals with debt and equity components.
• Support diligence and ongoing deal updates as needed.
