Job summary

Accenture is seeking a PM support professional to assist the Project Manager with meetings, action-tracking, and minute-taking. You will help in RFP creation for engineering and construction bidding and maintain project phase checklists.

You will also build project schedules, follow up on permits, obtain vendor updates, and prepare financial forecasts and KPI reports. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 2–4 years in electric or gas utilities or related field, or Associate's with 5–8 years.
• Proficiency in Maximo.
• Familiarity with electric utilities infrastructure concepts, practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication with analytical experience.

• Review material requests, contracts, and QA/QC reports with PM for corrections.
• Work with contractors and client personnel to resolve issues.
• Manage smaller project issues under PM purview and assist with additional tasks.

• Assist with RFP creation for engineering and construction bidding and maintain project Phase Checklists.
• Help build project schedules and follow up on permit status with the point‑of‑contact.
• Request the opening of Project IDs and Workorders and obtain financial updates from vendors.
• Update financial forecasts in client systems and prepare various project status reports and Key Performance Indicators.
• Perform vendor invoice reviews, generate invoice checklists, and submit them to the Accenture PM for review, approval, and submission to the client.
• Facilitate client project closeout at the project conclusion.
• Review material requests, contracts, and QA/QC reports from Project Controls, consulting the PM for corrections.
• Work directly with contractors and client personnel to resolve issues.
• Manage smaller project issues directly under the purview of the Project Manager and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Work Arrangement

• Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Maximo
• Familiarity with electric utilities infrastructure project concepts, practices, and procedures
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Strong written and oral communication skills with proven analytical experience.
