Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a project-support professional to organize meetings, assist with RFPs and schedules, and manage project financials onsite for electric utilities projects.

You will work with engineers, technologists and strategists to deliver critical infrastructure and manage client relationships; travel to customer sites as needed is expected. Accenture offers a comprehensive benefits package and career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 2-4 years of experience in the electric utilities or a related field, or an associate's degree in engineering or business with 5-8 years of experience in the electric or gas utility field or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Organize team meetings, walkdowns, track action items, and maintain agendas/minutes.
• Assist with RFP creation for engineering and construction bidding; maintain project Phase Checklists.
• Build project schedules and follow up on permit status with the point-of-contact.
• Request opening of Project IDs and Workorders; obtain financial updates from vendors.
• Update financial forecasts in client systems; prepare project status reports and KPIs.
• Perform vendor invoice reviews; generate invoice checklists; submit for review and client submission.
• Facilitate client project closeout at project conclusion.
• Review material requests, contracts, and QA/QC reports; advise PM for corrections.
• Work with contractors and client personnel to resolve issues.
• Manage smaller project issues under PM; assist with additional tasks as needed.

THE WORK:

• You’ll review material requests, contracts, and QA/QC reports from Project Controls, consulting the PM for corrections.
• You’ll work directly with contractors and client personnel to resolve issues.
• You’ll manage smaller project issues directly under the purview of the Project Manager and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 2-4 years of experience in the electric utilities or a related field, or an associate's degree in engineering or business with 5-8 years of experience in the electric or gas utility field or a related field

• Proficiency in Maximo
• Familiarity with electric utilities infrastructure project concepts, practices, and procedures
