Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects is seeking a hands-on Project Administrator to support the Project Manager by organizing team meetings, walkdowns, tracking action items, and maintaining agendas and minutes at client sites.

You will assist with RFP creation for engineering and construction bidding, help build project schedules, monitor permits, manage vendor invoices, and prepare status reports and KPIs, working closely with contractors and client personnel to resolve issues and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 2-4 years of experience in the electric utilities or a related field
• An associate's degree in engineering or business with 5-8 years of experience in the electric or gas utility field or a related field
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Organize team meetings, walkdowns, tracking action items, and maintaining agendas and minutes
• Assist with RFP creation for engineering and construction bidding and maintain project Phase Checklists
• Build project schedules and follow up on permit status with the point-of-contact
• Request opening of Project IDs and Workorders and obtain financial updates from vendors
• Update financial forecasts in client systems and prepare project status reports and KPIs
• Review vendor invoices, generate invoice checklists, and submit them for client review and approval
• Facilitate client project closeout at project conclusion
• Review material requests, contracts, and QA/QC reports from Project Controls and consult the PM for corrections
• Work directly with contractors and client personnel to resolve issues
• Manage smaller project issues directly under the purview of the Project Manager and assist with additional tasks as needed

THE WORK

The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business with 2-4 years of experience in the electric utilities or a related field, or an associate's degree in engineering or business with 5-8 years of experience in the electric or gas utility field or a related field

• Familiarity with electric utilities infrastructure project concepts, practices, and procedures

$107,000 - $133,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
