Job summary

Mastery Logistics Systems is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge strategic initiatives with actionable delivery. You will own backlog refinement, translate business needs into Jira work items, and collaborate across app dev teams to keep delivery on track.

Ideal candidates will bring 3+ years in business analysis, strong SDLC knowledge, and proven experience writing user stories in Agile environments. This role emphasizes clarity, alignment, and proactive impediment removal across teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the business analysis discipline.
• Demonstrated experience writing user stories in support of Agile software development.
• Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and associated tools such as Jira and GitHub.
• Process Flow Analysis experience while synthesizing architecture and design best practices.

Responsibilities

• Translate vision into execution: Convert business requirements into executable Jira Initiatives, Epics, and Stories.
• Run effective ceremonies: Facilitate backlog refinement ceremonies, lead story mapping sessions to drive alignment, and determine the viability of upcoming projects while ensuring the team has sufficient work ready for development.
• Prioritize with intent: Understand your teams’ roadmap and priorities to effectively prioritize the backlog of work.
• Keep engineering moving: Act as a liaison between engineering teams to ensure cross-team projects stay on schedule and ensure accuracy in development work.
• Clear the path: Identify and remove impediments and interruptions to team productivity, including managing cross-team coordination.
• Triage and investigate: Help triage, investigate, and resolve defects when needed.
• Shape the roadmap: Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations for future work on our roadmap.
• Serve as domain SME: Build functional depth to ensure the team consistently has the information needed to deliver work.
