Job summary
The Squires Group is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Annapolis, MD based Information Technology team. This hands-on BA will bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, turning needs into clear, actionable requirements and owning the backlog.
You will work with Product Owners, Project Managers, Developers, QA, and Data Teams to translate needs into Features and User Stories, develop Acceptance Criteria, and facilitate User Story Mapping and 3 Amigos sessions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years building software delivery requirements and backlogs.
- Strong Azure DevOps and Jira experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into features and criteria.
- Proficient in facilitating requirements workshops and backlog refinement.
- Ability to communicate clearly with developers, QA, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
- Lead conversations, challenge ambiguity, and own the backlog.
- Develop acceptance criteria and support User Story Mapping.
- Facilitate 3 Amigos sessions with BA, Dev, and QA teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, PMs, and data teams.
