Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Business Analyst for the Tampa, FL area. The role focuses on elaborating backlog details, ensuring timely Jira items, and maintaining the backlog with the Scrum Master.

You will act as a liaison between technology and business stakeholders, with strong understanding of user needs and system functionality. You will translate needs into backlog items, refine with the Product Owner and squad, and collaborate with IT teams to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

4+ years of IT experience with familiarity across technologies and platforms.
Proficient with ServiceNow, Power BI, and JIRA.
Proficient with MS Office, SharePoint, Power BI, and JIRA.
Familiar with Agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.

Responsibilities

Translate user and business needs into product backlog items to achieve the definition of ready.
Collaborate with Product Owner and squad on backlog item refinement.
Coordinate with Business and IT teams to meet project deadlines.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback into the backlog with Product Owner and teams.
Participate in daily and ongoing squad calls.
Create or contribute to documentation for stakeholders.
Analyze delivery chain to identify opportunities for automation or workflow simplification.
Translate insights into backlog items to reduce cycle time.
Communicate status, escalate roadblocks, and troubleshoot as needed.
