U.S. Bank is seeking an Infrastructure Data Analytics Engineer to acquire, transform, and analyze data from infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise systems. The role blends data engineering, analytics, and automation to support technology strategy and executive decision making.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL, Python, and Alteryx skills, with experience in REST/GraphQL, APIs, and data quality. Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau and cloud platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5–7 years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, and data analytics tooling.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake and data platforms.
• Knowledge of infrastructure observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and release automation.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Data Acquisition & Integration: ingest data from multiple sources (infrastructure, CMDB, cloud; REST/GraphQL APIs; SaaS platforms) and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Data Engineering & Transformation: develop SQL queries, stored procedures, data models; create Python-based data extraction, transformation, and automation workflows; build Alteryx workflows.
• Analytics & Reporting: analyze infrastructure/operational data to identify trends, risks, performance issues, capacity constraints; support KPI dashboards and executive reporting.
• Automation & API Development: develop API integrations; create automated workflows for timeliness.
• SDLC, DevOps & Release Management: follow SDLC/Agile; maintain code in Git-based repos; develop CI/CD pipelines; document runbooks and deployment procedures.
• Governance & Compliance: ensure data governance, security, and compliance; maintain data lineage and metadata; support regulatory/audit requests.
