Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Infrastructure Data Analytics Engineer to acquire, transform, and analyze data across infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise tech. You will build ETL/ELT pipelines, develop SQL queries and Python solutions, and automate data workflows.

The role emphasizes SDLC practices, API integration, and governance to support technology strategy, risk management, and executive decision making. Location requires onsite presence at a U.S. Bank facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
• Experience analyzing infrastructure, cloud, or operational technology data preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data ingestion processes from multiple sources including infrastructure monitoring platforms, CMDB and asset management, cloud platforms, enterprise databases, APIs and SaaS
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to acquire, cleanse, transform, validate and enrich data
• Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models; create Python-based data extraction, transformation, automation workflows with API integrations
• Design and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending and analytics automation; implement reusable transformation frameworks
• Support analytics reporting and KPI dashboards; translate findings into business recommendations for leadership
