Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Infrastructure Data Analytics Engineer to acquire, transform, and analyze data from infrastructure, cloud, and enterprise systems.

The role blends data engineering, analytics, automation, and operational intelligence to support technology strategy and executive decision making. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, Python, Alteryx, API integration, and data transformation skills, aligned with SDLC practices, including source control and release management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5–7 years of statistical or data analytics experience.
• Proven experience analyzing infrastructure, cloud, or operational technology data.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and release automation.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data ingestion from multiple sources including infrastructure, CMDB, cloud platforms.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate structured/unstructured data.
• Develop SQL queries and Python solutions for extraction, transformation, and data quality.
• Create Alteryx workflows for data preparation and analytics automation.
• Analyze infrastructure data to identify trends, risks, performance, and capacity.
• Develop API integrations and automated workflows for timeliness.
• Follow SDLC with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure governance, security, data lineage, and regulatory compliance.
