Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an Infotainment Triage Engineer to rapidly investigate and prioritize software and hardware issues affecting vehicle infotainment systems. You will act as the first level of technical analysis across development, validation, launch and post-production phases.

The role spans QNX, Android-based platforms, connectivity, diagnostics, CAN, cybersecurity interfaces, telematics and cloud services, with a focus on root-cause ownership, swift issue resolution, and ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, software engineering or related field.
3+ years in automotive embedded systems, infotainment, connectivity, or software integration.
Experience with automotive development processes and issue tracking systems.

Responsibilities

Triage and investigate infotainment issues reported by validation, integration, suppliers, manufacturing and customers.
Perform initial root-cause analyses and assign defect ownership.
Review logs, traces, dumps and diagnostic data; reproduce issues on bench and vehicle.
Coordinate with system architects, validation and connectivity teams to communicate status and risks.
Develop troubleshooting guides and improve triage efficiency.
