Eagle Technology Competence, LLC. is seeking a Triage & Root Cause Analysis Engineer to resolve infotainment and connectivity issues. The role involves triaging incoming problems, reproducing failures in various environments, and analyzing software logs to identify root causes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, strong automotive software diagnostics experience, and at least 3 years in automotive roles. This position is key to enhancing product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience reading and analyzing embedded or automotive software logs; scripting or development background strongly preferred.
• 3+ years in automotive development, validation, triage, or vehicle-level investigation roles.
• Hands-on experience with vehicles, bench/lab environments, and infotainment/connectivity ECU diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming issues from field reports and translate symptoms into reproducible failure modes.
• Reproduce issues in production vehicles; validate SW level and vehicle configuration.
• Validate issue conditions and confirm scope before escalation.
• Group issues to identify systemic root causes; prioritize investigations.
• Capture and analyze CAN/LIN/Ethernet traces and application logs.
• Leverage software knowledge to debug application-level and OS-level software logs.
• Ensure traceability to SW versions and vehicle architecture; correlate warranty claims.
• Verify log integrity and completeness prior to reproduction activities.
• Lead technical analysis of returned infotainment/connectivity ECUs.
• Apply root cause identification methodologies and document reproduction steps.
