Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking an IA Team Lead to establish a new team and guide IA engineers in a federal IT modernization effort. This onsite role requires a TS/SCI clearance and leadership to align security with critical missions.

The candidate will oversee secure architectures, risk assessments, and policy development while mentoring staff and coordinating with IT, legal, and compliance teams. A strong background in UNIX/Linux and security tooling is essential.

Qualifications

Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 or higher (Sec+ CE or higher).
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 12+ years of experience preferred.
Experience in risk assessments, IT audits, and security planning.
Knowledge of security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, and DLP.
Experience leading cybersecurity or IA teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee security of information systems, ensuring proper security and compliance.
Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses.
Ensure systems comply with security frameworks and participate in audits.
Coordinate certifying and accrediting processes for systems.
Monitor activity to detect unauthorized access and malware; improve controls.
Work with IT, legal, and compliance to align security with business needs.
Provide coaching and mentoring to IA personnel; conduct performance reviews.
Validate and approve time charging for assigned personnel.
