Job summary

Jump Start Technology is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to join our collaborative team in the Mountain View and San Jose area. The role focuses on solving client issues, configuring new tech, and ensuring smooth user access and onboarding.

You will work across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, leverage cloud services, and develop strong customer service and documentation practices while growing skills in AI, cybersecurity, scripting, and automation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
• General knowledge of cloud services and line-of-business apps.
• Basic understanding of troubleshooting networks and telephony.
• Strong customer service mindset and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking an IT Systems Specialist to join our innovative collaborative team.

What you’ll do:

• Contribute to process innovation by exploring creative solutions using AI, scripting, and automation tools
• Troubleshoot client endpoint, SaaS, networking, and A/V issues with responsiveness and strong follow-through
• Provide incredible customer service and accurate documentation of client issues
• Configure new technology including software and applications, computer hardware and desktops, and operating systems
• Administer new user accounts, work email addresses, and access levels to new employees to ensure they have everything they need to work efficiently

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience with a variety of operating systems, including Windows, Mac, and Linux systems
• General knowledge of different hardware platforms, cloud services, and line of business applications
• Basic understanding of how to troubleshoot network systems, phone systems, Internet connectivity, and other technological equipment
• Determination and commitment to advancing technical skillset and learning new technologies
