We are partnered with a growing manufacturing company in the Fountaintown, IN area seeking a Tier 1 IT Technician to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong technical foundation who enjoys problem-solving, supporting end-users, and keeping IT systems running smoothly in a fast-paced factory environment.

Location: Fountaintown, IN | Direct-Hire | 100% Onsite

Base salary: $45,000 – $65,000 per year (depending on experience)

Full Benefits | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT issues, providing support for Windows environments, Office 365, and other applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues (desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, scanners, mobile devices).
• Monitor basic network infrastructure (switches, routers, Wi‑Fi) and escalate complex issues to Tier II teams as needed.
• Set up, configure, and maintain user devices and ensure systems are updated and secure.
• Collaborate with other IT teams (Systems, Data, Development, ERP) to resolve escalated issues and improve processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Identify recurring problems and recommend process improvements to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring users are supported and kept informed throughout the troubleshooting process.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–2 years of IT support experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networks.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Office 365, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and basic networking concepts.
• Excellent communication skills—able to explain solutions clearly to non-technical users.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, factory setting.
• Preferred but not required: CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or similar.
