Insight Global is seeking an IT Support professional to be stationed onsite in Wendell, NC. You will serve as the IT point of contact for employees and provide hands-on support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365, troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues and driving problems to resolution.

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on Desktop Support, IT Support, Help Desk, or End User Support experience
• Experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, hardware, software, and operating systems
• Experience imaging, configuring, deploying, and re-imaging laptops/workstations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Wendell, NC

DAY-TO-DAY

One of our customers is seeking an IT Support professional to sit onsite in Wendell, NC. This individual will serve as one of the onsite IT points of contact for employees and provide hands-on support for laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, Microsoft 365, and general workplace technology. They will troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues while owning problems from initial request through resolution.

This person will also image, configure, deploy, and re-image computers, support new-hire onboarding and employee offboarding, maintain IT asset inventory, and make sure appropriate equipment is available for new users and PC refreshes. They will support conference room technology and assist with local IT projects, office moves, equipment upgrades, and occasional technology needs within the manufacturing environment.

WHAT THEY'RE REALLY LOOKING FOR

Someone who is a hands-on onsite IT support person, not someone who has only worked remote help desk/ticket support. They need someone comfortable physically working with devices, setting up users, imaging and deploying PCs, troubleshooting issues directly with employees, and taking ownership of problems through resolution.

Customer service is going to be important. They want someone proactive who doesn't just pass off a ticket, but has that "get it done" mentality and can be a reliable onsite IT resource.
