Job summary

Strategic Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Windows and macOS user support in a fast-growing, on-site environment in New York City. The role covers a mix of Windows PCs, Macs, and mobile devices, with emphasis on high-quality, customer-focused service.

The position requires experience supporting 50+ users, comfort with Zendesk, HPSM or ServiceNow, and a willingness to collaborate across teams. On-site only, 100% onsite, W2 rate provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification (prefer Bachelors Degree in IS or Computer science)
• Experience supporting 50+ users
• Certifications are ideal but not required
• Corporate environment experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Support a fast-growing group of team members across multiple divisions.
• Provide laptop support, with an even mix of Windows PCs, Macs, and mobile devices.
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused support.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Participate in cross-training with peers.
• Support site-level operational readiness and process improvements.
• Communicate with management as needed.
• Identify skill gaps and work to improve them.
• Collaborate with the site lead and provide backup support when delegated.
• Collaborate with peers across platforms.
• Assist the Service Desk by answering and resolving incoming support calls.

IT Support Specialist (Windows & macOS)

New York City, NY

100% onsite position

W2 Rate - $31/hr – NO 1099, NO CTC, NO THRID PARTY

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification (prefer Bachelors Degree in IS or Computer science)
• Experience supporting 50+ users
• Certifications are ideal but not required
• Corporate environment experience strongly preferred

At least 3 years of experience in:

• remote administration and end-user support.
• Windows 10 or earlier operating systems.
• ticketing and traffic reporting tools, such as Zendesk, HPSM, or ServiceNow.

At least 1 year of experience with

• Google Suite applications.
• macOS (High Sierra).
