The role involves maintaining SAP Business One and warehouse tech, supporting multiple locations, and traveling as needed. You will thrive with independent ownership and a proactive approach to technology needs onsite.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in desktop support, IT operations, or similar.
• Hands-on with Windows, printers, mobile devices, and end users.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and cloud authentication.
• Understanding networking fundamentals including switches and firewalls.
• Ability to investigate problems independently and escalate when needed.
• Good communication across technical and non-technical staff.
• Comfortable in office and warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, scanners, and other devices.
• Manage user accounts and authentication via Active Directory and Microsoft cloud platforms.
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot local network, connectivity, switches, and firewall issues.
• Assist warehouse staff with technology used in daily operations.
• Learn and support SAP Business One and warehouse management software.
• Coordinate with corporate IT on larger infrastructure issues and projects.
• Help bring additional locations onto the corporate network and domain.
• Track IT equipment and maintain asset information.
• Document processes and IT procedures for staff.
• Occasional after-hours support as needed.
• Periodic travel to other locations.

Job description

We are searching for an IT Support Analyst for a growing manufacturing company in the Winston-Salem, NC area.

This person will be the primary onsite IT resource for the facility. The role combines end-user support, Microsoft administration, basic network troubleshooting, warehouse technology, and local project support.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving different types of technical problems and wants more ownership than a traditional help desk role provides. You will have support from the broader IT team, but you must be comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for the technology needs of the site.

What You'll Do

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, scanners, handheld devices, and other workplace technology
• Manage user accounts, access, and authentication through Active Directory and Microsoft cloud platforms
• Support Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and related collaboration tools
• Troubleshoot local network, connectivity, switch, firewall, and device issues
• Support warehouse and manufacturing employees with the technology used in daily operations
• Learn and support business systems such as SAP Business One and warehouse management software
• Coordinate with corporate IT on larger infrastructure issues and technical projects
• Help bring additional company locations onto the corporate network and domain
• Track IT equipment and maintain accurate asset information
• Document processes and help employees follow established IT procedures
• Provide occasional after-hours support when business operations require it
• Travel periodically to other company locations

What We're Looking For

• Three or more years of experience in desktop support, IT operations, systems support, or a similar position
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows computers, printers, mobile devices, and end users
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, and cloud-based authentication
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Ability to investigate problems independently and determine when an issue should be escalatedStrong communication skills and the ability to work with employees at different technical levels
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing or warehouse areas
• Willingness to learn new applications, processes, and technologies
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage competing priorities without constant supervision
