Job summary

Allied Resources Technical Consultants in Cary, NC is seeking an IT Analyst to provide frontline IT support to end users and assist with day-to-day IT operations in a professional office environment.

This on-site role covers hardware, software, telecommunications, user account administration, and workstation deployments, with travel between local office locations as required. The candidate will document requests, support new hires, and work with senior IT staff on technical projects.

Qualifications

• Two to four years in IT support or help desk.
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on hardware and software support to end users.
• Troubleshoot and support office hardware, including computers, printers, and plotters.
• Support and maintain office telecommunications, telephone, and voicemail systems.
• Document, track, troubleshoot, and resolve IT support requests.
• Install and upgrade computer hardware and software, including RAM, hard drives, and video cards.
• Manage IT processes for new hires and terminations, including user account creation/removal and computer setup or retrieval.
• Coordinate hardware, software, cabling, telephone, and voicemail moves, adds, and changes.
• Build, configure, and deploy end-user computers and related equipment.
• Assist senior IT staff with technical projects and other assignments as needed.
• Travel locally between office locations when required.

Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking an IT Analyst to provide frontline technical support to end users and assist with day-to-day IT operations. Qualifications:

• College or technical school education in an IT-related field, or equivalent hands-on IT experience.
• 2-4 years of experience within an IT support, desktop support, or help desk environment.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting computer hardware and software.
• Ability to support end-user equipment and resolve technical issues in a professional office environment.
• Ability to physically access and maintain computer equipment located under desks and workstations.
• Ability to move computer and IT equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
