The role works closely with corporate IT, outside technology partners, and equipment vendors to keep employees productive and site technology operating reliably. The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to troubleshoot issues methodically while escalating more complex problems appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support
  • Provide responsive on-site support for office, warehouse, production, and remote employees.
  • Troubleshoot Windows computers, laptops, docking stations, monitors, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Resolve issues involving user accounts, passwords, Microsoft 365 applications, email, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Assist employees with Microsoft Teams phones, conference-room equipment, and other communication systems.
  • Set up and deploy computers, phones, printers, and related equipment for new hires and replacement needs.
  • Document support requests, resolutions, equipment assignments, and recurring issues.
  • Provide basic user training and reinforce company IT and cybersecurity practices.
Microsoft 365 and Endpoint Administration
  • Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Assist with user onboarding, offboarding, access changes, group membership, and software licensing.
  • Monitor device compliance, encryption, software updates, and general endpoint health.
  • Coordinate escalated identity, security, and Microsoft 365 issues with corporate IT.
Network and Infrastructure Support
  • Perform first-level troubleshooting of wired and wireless connectivity throughout the facility.
  • Support the site’s Cisco Meraki and Ubiquiti infrastructure under the direction of corporate IT.
  • Assist with switch ports, wireless access points, VLAN assignments, DHCP, DNS, internet connectivity, and cabling issues.
  • Identify and trace network connections for computers, printers, cameras, phones, production equipment, and other devices.
  • Maintain network closets, patch panels, racks, UPS units, and related equipment.
  • Coordinate service calls and on-site work with internet providers, cabling vendors, and other technology partners.
Manufacturing and Operational Technology Support
  • Provide basic connectivity and workstation support for production, warehouse, quality, shipping, and maintenance systems.
  • Support and assist with technology used for timekeeping, badge-access, camera, labeling, scanning, and production-related systems.
  • Work with equipment vendors and corporate IT when production devices, controllers, HMIs, or other operational systems experience connectivity problems.
  • Respond promptly to issues that could interrupt production, shipping, receiving, quality, or employee access.
Asset Management and Security
  • Maintain accurate inventories of computers, monitors, phones, printers, network devices, software, and other IT assets.
  • Support cybersecurity controls, including endpoint protection, phishing-resistant authentication, device compliance, least-privilege access, and approved software requirements.
  • Assist with backup monitoring, recovery testing, and business-continuity activities as assigned.
  • Follow change-management, documentation, and access-control procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience providing hands-on IT support in a business environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and common business applications.
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, switches, VLANs, and network cabling.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, or another endpoint-management platform.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems logically, document findings, and recognize when an issue should be escalated.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following standards established by corporate IT.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent production-impacting issues alongside normal support requests.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience and relevant certifications will be considered.
  • Experience supporting technology in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or food-production environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams Phone, Cisco Meraki, and Ubiquiti.
