Job Title: IT Project Manager (German Speaking)

Total Experience Required: 10+ years in Information Technology/Computers/Software

Relevant Experience Required: 6+ years of relevant project management experience, preferably in financial services or banking.

Job Type: Contract

Contract Duration: A minimum duration of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months or beyond, depending on project requirements.

Workplace Type: 100% Remote from anywhere in the Europe

Languages Required: German (C1 Level) and English

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work anywhere in the Europe

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager for a long-term contract role with a leading client in the financial technology sector. The position is remote from anywhere within the EU. Candidates must be on prime vendor payroll.

This role involves leading medium-sized projects from initiation through closure, with accountability for delivery across scope, time, quality, and budget. Strong experience in financial services and fluency in German and English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects within defined scope, time, quality, and budget
• Lead and coordinate project teams (internal and external)
• Manage project risks, contingencies, and reporting
• Prepare and track project budgets and staffing
• Represent the project in relevant governance structures
• Proven project management experience (8+ years)
• Fluency in German (C1+) and English
• Strong budgeting and risk management capabilities
• Hands-on experience in all project phases (initiate to close)

Optional Skills

• PMP or Prince2 certification
• Financial technology or banking background
• Experience working with distributed teams
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies
