Job Title: Sr IT Project Manager

What You'll Do:

• Develop, manage and lead various projects, including development and management of project plans, definition of individual project deliverables as a part of the overall program deliverables, manage the expectations of all stakeholders, manage project teams in delivering the projects, communicate and manage tasks and activities with the team, and provide feedback to team members as appropriate.
• Collaborate with vendor(s) on technology solutions, implementation, and data migration.
• Effectively manage company project efforts, including project plan, scope/budget/resource management, time management (activities & task planning), communications, risk management, QA and testing, user training, ongoing maintenance, and support.
• Working with stakeholders, develop and implement test plans/scenarios to ensure a project's successful delivery.
• Lend support to various business and technology teams as necessary during project delivery.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal (i.e., day-to-day discussions, team meetings) and written (requirements and design specifications) form and have an overall ability to be clear and concise in all communications.
• Assist in establishing Project Management standards and practices to be leveraged across the enterprise. Ability to train and consult with peers or others acting in a project management capacity.
• Creates status reports, dashboards, milestone reviews, and ad hoc reports.

What Experience You'll Have:

• Thorough working knowledge of the SDLC models/methodologies, IT systems, and their direct implementation to projects.
• Strong project management skills with multiple active software development projects of varying size and complexity.
• Leadership and management skills in leading technical personnel through the delivery of software development projects.
• Leadership skills in getting work done through vendors and outside parties.
• Strong business and systems analysis skills, test planning and testing skills, troubleshooting skills, and experience with numerous environments and architectures.
• Experience in data gathering and facilitation techniques (i.e., meetings and JAD sessions).
• Experience with requirements management, use case, and modeling tools.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, General Information Technology or a related field, AND
• 7+ years of relevant experience in project management/business analysis with software development projects, OR
• PMI/PMP certification preferred.
