Senior IT Project Manager – Software Clinical Solutions

Type: W2 Contract – 1 Year

We are actively seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a fully remote, W2 contract supporting a variety of clinical development initiatives. This is a critical role and will play a key role in managing high-priority projects that directly support clinicians and care delivery.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent Software development projects, collaborating with both technical teams and clinical stakeholders. This position requires a strong background in project management methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee multiple concurrent IT (Software) projects focused on clinical solutions
• Collaborate closely with software development teams and clinical stakeholders
• Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on goals, deliverables, and timelines
• Manage project timelines, risks, scope, and stakeholder expectations across different delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban)
• Drive initiative forward with minimal oversight and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Required Qualifications:

• 7–8 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers and business stakeholders
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to navigate and influence clinical and technical audiences
• Proven success managing projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Kanban methodologies
• Proficiency with project management tools (Smartsheet is a plus, MS Project or similar tools acceptable)
• PMP certification preferred but not required
• Healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong professional presence, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
