Job Title: Program Manager – AI Projects (Pharma | Hybrid – Lake County, IL)

Location: Lake County, IL (Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week required)

Job Type: Contract (W2 or C2C)

Duration: 6 Months Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage AI-based application development projects (e.g., chatbots, prompt engineering, data extraction)
• Drive project planning, tracking, and execution across multiple workstreams
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Directors, BRMs, Tech Leads, and vendor teams (onshore/offshore)
• Track timelines, risks, dependencies, and project deliverables
• Use tools like Jira, Clarity PPM, Confluence, MS Project
• Work in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments, depending on project needs
• Coordinate budget tracking and accruals in partnership with Finance

Required Qualifications:

• 8–11 years of experience in program or project management (7+ years acceptable with strong experience)
• Experience leading multi-stream IT projects, ideally involving AI or application development
• Familiarity with AI-related concepts (e.g., chatbots, NLP, LLMs, prompt engineering)
• Strong command of Jira, Clarity PPM, Confluence, and MS Project
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with vendor management, including onshore/offshore teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP and/or Scrum certifications
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Prior experience in Patient Safety-related projects
• Long-term project tenure (short stints < 3 months are discouraged)
