Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in MIS / IT / analytics or related field.
• Two years of technical experience using computer applications to facilitate management reporting and analysis.
• Master's degree may substitute for one year of required experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and apply computer-based information systems to improve operations at the departmental level.
• Conduct data mining and statistical research to monitor KPIs for departmental programs.
• Identify business needs and analyze processes to implement IT solutions and improve operations.
• Document, design, implement, and maintain computer-based information systems; model and analyze data to recommend improvements.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff in the City’s central information technology agency.

Education

Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology, business analytics, data science, information science, statistics or a closely related field
