Job summary

SEPTA, a leading transportation authority in the Philadelphia region, is seeking an Operations Analyst I (5204) – Automotive Equipment. This entry-level role focuses on data analysis, financial reporting, and supporting the Operations Division with scalable insights.

You will prepare weekly/monthly reports, develop dashboards, and collaborate with teammates to drive operational improvements. A Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI are required, with strong

Bachelor’s degree required in business administration, data analytics, finance, or a related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; basic data visualization skills (Power BI).
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Prepares and monitors weekly and monthly reports, both financial and statistical.
Collaborates with team members to collect and analyze data.
Visualizes data with charts, graphs, infographics, and/or basic dashboards.
Establishes basic key-performance indicators to measure the effectives of business decisions and service delivery.
Drafts presentations for senior staff members.
Identifies and recommends process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
