Job summary

ProSync Technology Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a program handling classified information. The role requires active TS/SCI with Fullscope Polygraph clearance and experience securing information systems in DoD/IC environments.

Responsibilities include implementing security policies, maintaining posture, conducting risk assessments, and preparing SSPs and C&A packages in compliance with RMF.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of ISSO experience on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Experience in at least two of: security tools, hardware/software security, communication protocols, encryption techniques/tools.

Responsibilities

• Propose, coordinate, implement, and enforce information systems security policies and standards.
• Maintain operational security posture for the system/program.
• Assist with management of security aspects and day-to-day security operations.
• Evaluate security solutions to meet NIST RMF requirements for processing classified info.
• Perform vulnerability risk assessments to support certification and accreditation.
• Provide CM for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manage changes to system and assess security impact of changes.
• Prepare/review SSPs, Risk Assessments, C&A packages, and SRTMs.
• Support security authorization activities per NIST RMF.

The Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclaves information assurance program.

• Provides support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintains operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed.
• Assists with the management of security aspects of the information system and performs day-to-day security operations of the system.
• Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information.
• Performs vulnerability risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation.
• Provides configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware.
• Manages changes to system and assesses the security impact of those changes.
• Prepares and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSPs), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices (SRTMs).
• Supports security authorization activities in compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology Risk Management Framework (NISTRMF).

Requirements

• Ten (10) years of experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Experience is to include at least two (2) of the following areas:
• Knowledge of current security tools.
• Hardware/software security implementation.
• Communication protocols.
• Encryption techniques/tools.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or related discipline (OR) in lieu of a degree, four (4) years of additional experience as an ISSO may be substituted.

DOD 8570 compliance IAM Level 1 (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP) or higher is required. A Top Secret/SCI w/ Fullscope Polygraph is required.
