Collins Aerospace seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) Level 2 to support cybersecurity for classified systems in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will perform ISSO-level activities under guidance, assist with continuous monitoring, auditing, and risk identification while coordinating with the ISSM and senior ISSOs.

This onsite role requires DoD Secret clearance, IAM Level I certification, and collaboration with IT, Facilities, and Industrial Security to ensure controls are applied

Competenze

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of experience or an Advanced Degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required on day one.
• IAM Level I certification aligned with DoD 8570/8140.
• Experience with cybersecurity monitoring and analysis in enterprise/DoD settings.
• Knowledge of network security, logging, access controls, and incident detection.

Mansioni

• Support cybersecurity implementation and maintenance for assigned information systems under guidance.
• Review data transfer requests and ensure security controls and approvals.
• Assist with user accounts and access requests per RBAC policies.
• Execute continuous monitoring: review logs, validate controls, identify anomalies.
• Conduct system auditing and log reviews for policy compliance and events.
• Develop and update security documentation and authorization artifacts.
• Track POA&Ms from audits and monitoring activities to closure.
• Report security issues and findings to senior personnel.
• Collaborate with IT, Facilities, and Industrial Security to apply requirements.
• Prepare for inspections by providing documentation and insights.
• Work with IT/engineering teams on investigation and remediation.
