Job summary

Ice Miller LLP is seeking an Information Governance Records Analyst to manage records throughout their lifecycle, ensuring security, accessibility, and integrity. The role collaborates with IT and Legal, trains staff, and drives governance practices across offices.

The position emphasizes retention policies, audits for compliance, and data protection. Travel between offices may be required, with strong emphasis on collaboration and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of experience in a professional services environment.
• Experience in Information Management (IM) / Records preferred.
• IG/RIM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an integral member of the Information Governance program.
• Support attorneys and administrative teams in managing client and firm information.
• Coordinate intake, classification, retention, and destruction of records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and data protection requirements.
• Assist IG Operations in implementing Information Management standards.
• Provide required metrics and reporting on IM activities.
• Help with automating complex spreadsheets and data cleanup.
