Job summary

Ice Miller LLP seeks an Information Governance (IG) Records Analyst to manage data lifecycle, enforce retention policies, and audit compliance across physical and electronic records. You will train staff and collaborate with IT and Legal to safeguard information and foster responsible information stewardship.

Responsibilities include coordinating retention/destruction, indexing files in 3E Records, and supporting the mobility team for imaging and disposition while delivering timely IM metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years in a professional services environment; law firm experience preferred.
• Experience in Information Management (IM) / Records strongly preferred.
• RIM/IG certification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of records and data management, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power Apps.

Responsibilities

• Support IG program as an integral member and ensure compliance with data protection requirements.
• Assist attorneys and administrative teams with client and firm information per standards.
• Coordinate intake, classification, retention, and destruction of records (physical/electronic).
• Index onsite files and reflect in the firm’s 3E Records system.
• Provide metrics and reporting on IM activities and projects.
