The Management Analyst 3 (MA3) position in the Information Governance Unit supports the Washington State Department of Corrections by managing electronic records, performing critical searches, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance information governance compliance.

The role emphasizes process improvement, training, and risk mitigation while strengthening the department’s transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Advanced level proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with electronic records management and public records requests.
• Ability to read and interpret complex data and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource to staff agency-wide for public records requests and eDiscovery.
• Analyze public records statistics to support strategic plans and leadership reporting.
• Update internal/external sites with Information Governance policy and practice.
• Provide training and develop tools to improve information governance compliance.
