Location: Backus Hospital (10309)

Shift Details: Primarily 32 and 24 hours per week; limited 16 and 12-hour positions. Day, evening, and night shifts.

Job Summary

Greets hospital visitors, patients, and vendors at the Information and Guest Services Desk. Provides assistance, directions, and information about the hospital, patients, and staff. Assists with patient transport. Maintains confidentiality and adheres to hospitality and customer service standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of experience in reception, hospitality, or public relations required; healthcare reception experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective communication and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple demands and work under strict timelines, including emergency situations.
  • Discretion and judgment in maintaining confidentiality.
