Job Description

As a Chat Host, you will ensure our customers are engaged with the Gala Bingo brand via Chat Bingo Rooms, social media, and other channels, to enhance brand loyalty, retention, and increase player activity. Collaborating with Customer Services, your role is to keep customers informed about all headline promotions, slot offers, and bonuses.

Reporting to the Head of Chat Host Team, you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining a pleasant, fun, and safe environment for all Bingo customers, ensuring adherence to Terms & Conditions and preventing offensive conduct.

What you will do

• Engage with customers in chat rooms, providing entertainment through creativity and flair.
• Follow the rota for clubs and rooms on a shift basis to ensure coverage of priority rooms and overall site coverage.
• Fill in for un-hosted rooms at short notice if required by supervisors or team members.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma, Vocational Certificate, Short Course, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in any field.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum of 6 months customer service experience.
• Experience in online chat room environments.

Desirable

• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Word, and Excel.
