Systems Plus, a government contractor, seeks an Information Assurance/Security Specialist – Level III for Fort Bliss, TX. This full-time onsite role leads vulnerability management, RMF implementation, and incident response to ensure mission readiness.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and holds IAT III, IAM III, and CE: Professional Level certifications, with a minimum of 10 years in information assurance and cybersecurity.

Daily Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise cybersecurity vulnerability management, remediation, and continuous monitoring programs
• Provides strategic oversight of RMF implementation, cybersecurity compliance, and enterprise security governance
• Directs cybersecurity incident response and risk mitigation activities to maintain mission readiness and operational resilience
• Provides technical leadership for security architecture, defense-in-depth strategies, and enterprise infrastructure protection
• Advises local Government leadership on cybersecurity risk, accreditation strategy, and continuous improvement of security operations

Required Degree and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency
• IAT III
• IAM III
• CE: Professional Level

Required Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Experience demonstrating expertise in information assurance and cybersecurity practices, with a proven ability to manage and secure complex IT environments
• Experience leading cybersecurity teams and coordinating efforts to meet compliance and security objectives
• Understanding Risk Management Framework (RMF) and industry standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and Department of War (DoW) security protocols

Required Clearance:

• Tier 1 background investigation
