Job summary

Systems Plus, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Leader to provide enterprise technical leadership for server, network, and systems administration in a high-tempo government contracting environment.

You will act as the SME for complex enterprise infrastructure, drive modernization and integration initiatives, and ensure strict DoD cybersecurity compliance. The role includes advising local Government leadership on strategy and resilience to support readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalency.
• IAT II certification required.
• CE: Professional certification preferred.

Daily Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise technical leadership for server, network, and systems administration supporting secure, resilient, and highly available infrastructure.
• Serve as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for complex enterprise infrastructure, collaboration platforms, and systems architecture.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, enterprise systems optimization, and technology integration initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness.
• Ensure enterprise security, configuration governance, access management, and compliance with DoW cybersecurity requirements.
• Advise local Government leadership on infrastructure strategy, operational resilience, and continuous improvement to support readiness.

Required Degree and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency
• IAT II
• CE: Professional

Required Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience
• Experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution skills for complex technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and operational disruptions.

Required Clearance:

• Tier 3 background investigation.
