Daily Responsibilities

• Provides technical leadership for secure, resilient, and highly available network infrastructure supporting mission operations


• Serves as the technical SME for network architecture, security, and infrastructure modernization


• Leads network performance optimization, capacity planning, and technology integration initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness


• Provides technical SME support for complex network issue resolution, operational resilience, and continuity of communications services


• Ensures compliance with DoW cybersecurity requirements, network governance, and protection of mission‑critical communications infrastructure

Required Degree and Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency


• IAT II


• CE: Associate (Professional preferred)

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience


• Experience managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and optimization of network systems to meet current and future operational needs


• Experience demonstrating the ability to lead and coordinate, ensuring that all network operations adhere to performance objectives, industry standards, and best practices


• Experience leading scale routing, switching, and transport‑level security projects.
