Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking an Inflight Policy & Procedure Specialist to develop and refine inflight policies and procedures, ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent customer service. The role requires analyzing processes, collaborating with training and safety teams, and delivering updates across divisions.

The ideal candidate has 2 years in airline operations, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and the ability to attend flight attendant training while maintaining FAA

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in airline operations or a related area.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience in lieu of this degree.
• Willingness to attend five weeks of flight attendant training and maintain FAA certification.
• Process-minded with the ability to develop efficient inflight procedures and communicate clearly.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects under limited supervision.
• Willingness to travel across Alaska Airlines routes.

Responsibilities

• Develops, documents, and implements policies and procedures for inflight functions.
• Maintains department manuals and training materials.
• Partners with training and Safety & Compliance teams to update products.
• Communicates policy changes through multiple channels and delivers presentations.
• Serves as Safety Risk Assessment facilitator and guides SRM assessments.
