Job summary

Alaska Airlines is seeking a Supervisor Inflight Crew Scheduling to oversee the daily operations of Inflight Schedulers for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines. You will lead the team, set priorities, and ensure safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction through effective scheduling.

The role requires 3 years of airline crew scheduling experience, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training), and strong communication and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of airline, crew scheduling experience or related area.
• Bachelor’s degree, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, OneNote, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability and willingness to accept shift work and a flexible schedule (8, 10, or 12-hour shifts).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with business leaders and solve complex operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Inflight Crew Schedulers to meet performance objectives (on-time, reserve utilization, premium usage).
• Investigate and report Inflight Crew delays and irregular flight activity to mitigate future occurrences.
• Supervise adherence to FAR, CBA, and company policies for legally scheduling Flight Attendants.
• Coordinate with IAM & AFA to resolve contractual issues and promote efficient labor relations.
• Develop schedulers through performance management, coaching, and feedback.
• Manage department admin functions including daily schedule, sick leave, time off, and supply ordering.
• Handle escalated calls from Flight Attendants regarding scheduling needs.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to promote a positive work culture and business acumen.
