Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Infectious Diseases to lead antimicrobial stewardship and pharmacotherapy across Lancaster General Health. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, microbiology, infection prevention, and pharmacy teams to optimize antimicrobial use and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Antimicrobial stewardship and infectious diseases pharmacotherapy expertise.
• Active participation in rounds and consultations to optimize therapy.
• Develop and implement guidelines, order sets, and formulary decisions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rounds with medical/surgical/critical care teams for drug therapy evaluations.
• Provide verbal and written consultations; document assessments and recommendations.
• Monitor therapy via therapeutic drug monitoring and safety reviews; adjust as needed.
