Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to support infectious disease patient care at the Perelman Center, located at 3400 Civic Center Blvd. The role focuses on advanced clinical pharmacy services in ambulatory care, medication management, and collaborative drug therapy management, serving as a clinical resource within interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active PA Pharmacist license required.
• NJ Pharmacist license required within 90 days of hire.
• Pharmacy degree (PharmD or BS) required.
• PGY1 residency with board certification OR 10 years in health-system pharmacy in area of specialty (or PGY2) required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient information and optimize pharmacotherapy.
• Manage therapy under CPAs and protocols to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement evidence-based guidelines and clinical programs.
• Mentor pharmacy residents, students, and staff.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
