Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center is seeking an Infectious Diseases Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy Specialist to provide advanced clinical expertise in antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease pharmacotherapy for adults and children.

You will collaborate with infectious disease physicians, microbiology, and infection prevention teams to optimize antimicrobial use, recommend therapies, and monitor efficacy and toxicity, improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree Pharm D required.
• Must be licensed or eligible to practice pharmacy in Pennsylvania.
• PGY-2 Infectious Disease residency with BCIDP within 1 year of hire.
• PGY-1 general practice residency + 3 years of relevant experience and BCIDP within 1 year of hire.
• 6 years of relevant experience with BCIDP within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced antimicrobial stewardship and infectious disease pharmacotherapy for adult and pediatric patients, collaborating with ID physicians, microbiology, and infection prevention teams.
