Job summary

Our Healthcare Center Wellness Clinic in St. Augustine, FL seeks a Medical Director (Infectious Disease) to lead outpatient care for our community. The physician will supervise mid-level providers and ensure high-quality primary care across chronic and acute conditions.

Role requires MD/DO with active license, DEA/Furnishing, and outpatient experience. On-site work with competitive compensation and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily.
• CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours with correct E/M codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) and on-call duties.
