Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. is seeking a Medical Director with Infectious Disease expertise for an outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL.

The role requires an MD/DO license, board certification, and experience with HIV, STIs, and other infections. This is a full-time, on-site position with 14–18 patient visits daily and no nights or weekends. The compensation ranges from $250,000 to $290,000 annually, plus bonuses, a sign-on, relocation if needed, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with active state medical license required.
• Outpatient primary care experience is a must.
• Comfortable seeing 14–18 patients per day and meeting productivity targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 patients in a half-day).
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete same-day or 72-hour documentation with accurate E/M codes.
• Provide primary care for chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
• Supervise PAs and NPs; conduct chart reviews/audits as required.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Receive protected administrative time for full-time physicians.
