Ashton North LLC is seeking an Medical Director (Infectious Disease) for our outpatient facility in St. Augustine, FL. This on-site role focuses on high-quality primary care with no requirement for nights or weekends, guiding a team in a mission-driven clinic.

The physician will manage 14–18 patients daily, supervise PAs/NPs, and ensure timely documentation and coding while delivering comprehensive care across chronic and acute conditions.

Competenze

• MD or DO with active medical license.
• Furnishing license and DEA registration required.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Mansioni

• Manage a minimum of 14 patients per 8-hour shift (or 7 patients in a half-day).
• Oversee patient scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet productivity benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day of the visit, or within 72 hours, including E/M billing codes.
• Deliver primary care services for chronic conditions and acute issues.
• Collaborate with front desk, care coordinators, and nursing staff for urgent care and walk-ins.
• Review consultant reports, imaging, and labs promptly.
• Process prescription renewals within 72 hours.
• Monitor voicemails/emails daily.
• Support patient retention efforts with retention summaries.
• Supervise mid-level providers (PAs and NPs) including audits.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage as assigned.
• Full-time physicians receive 4 hours of protected administrative time weekly.
