Penn Medicine is seeking an Infection Preventionist to join our UPHS Infection Prevention and Control program. The role emphasizes surveillance, policy development, and leadership across inpatient and ambulatory areas, collaborating with clinical teams, facilities, and laboratory services.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or Health Science (Required) with 1+ year infection prevention experience; Certification in Infection Prevention (preferred) and strong
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or Health Science related field (Required)
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Microbiology, or Nursing (Preferred)
- 1+ years of Infection Prevention experience and Certification in Infection Control (Preferred)
Responsabilités
- Knowledge of Infectious Disease Processes. Surveillance of microlab results.
- Collaboration with clinical teams. Provide leadership to clinical teams of Infection Control and Prevention precepts.
- Informal education. Participate in UBCL and provides a visible Infection Control Presence.
