• RN license in Ohio preferred; Certification Board of Infection Control within 2 years preferred.

• Perform infection surveillance, analysis, interpretation, validation, and reporting of hospital acquired infections (HAI) per CMS and hospital requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of NHSN definitions, regulatory guidelines, and infection prevention best practices.
• Establish an infection prevention program and oversee Infection Control Committee and annual risk assessments.
• Investigate outbreaks and assist in tracking, analysis, and remediation or process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with DNV, OSHA, CMS, ODH, and CDC standards; participate in DNV tracer sessions.
