Job summary

University Health seeks a Manager of Infection Control & Prevention to lead a system-wide program, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations across the hospital and ambulatory sites. Requires at least five years in infection prevention in a hospital, a Baccalaureate degree in nursing, and strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office and EHR processes is expected; Texas RN licensure and Infection Prevention

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in infection prevention in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor degree in nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
• Infection prevention training or CDC/APIC coursework desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-wide infection control program in collaboration with the Director.
• Coordinate departmental activities to meet hospital and health system goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and standards of practice.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve patient and staff safety.
