Job summary

Cape Cod Post Acute is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator Infection Preventionist. The role focuses on leading educational initiatives, supporting clinical staff development, and promoting regulatory compliance through ongoing training and competency programs.

The position is full-time, days, with a salary range of $95,000–$120,000 annually and is supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. Responsibilities include orientation, education coordination, and collaboration with nursing

Qualifications

• Requires RN license active in Massachusetts.
• Experience as Staff Development Coordinator or Infection Preventionist preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels for quality resident outcomes.
• Develop, coordinate and provide education and training for staff.
• Conduct orientation and ongoing in-service education for compliance.
• Maintain education records, competency validations and documentation.
• Assist with admissions and support nursing workflow.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify educational needs.
• Monitor compliance with training requirements and competencies.
• Support quality improvement initiatives through education and staff development.
